Attorney-mediator Terri Wintering has over 30 years in the practice of law in the Rochester and southeast Minnesota areas. She graduated from the College of Saint Teresa and William Mitchell College of Law. She has decades of alternative dispute resolution experience, including cases in the areas of divorce and family mediation, EEOC, ADA, and human rights mediation, special education mediation, ENE mediation, civil mediation, parenting time expediting and facilitated IEP meetings.
Michael was raised in Rochester. He earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota, where he worked as a managing editor for the reputable Minnesota Law Review. In law school, he spent the majority of his studies clerking with Minnesota criminal defense attorneys. As a clerk he assisted with every type of case from speeding tickets to murder. From 2010 to 2012, he practiced criminal defense in Saint Paul before joining Walters & Wintering.
Attorney Michelle Dobson obtained her law degree from Loyola University Chicago and her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Michelle first began practicing law and completed a judicial clerkship in Illinois, and has relocated and made Rochester her home since 2013. Michelle focuses her practice on family law, domestic abuse and estate planning for families. She has extensive experience in the areas of marriage dissolution, custody, child support, orders for protection, harassment restraining orders, adoption, paternity, termination of parental rights, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and financial planning.
